About this bottle
The 1977 bottling within the 1970s Collection was distilled between April and June of that year. It was initially bottled at 21 years of age on September 11, 1998. A portion of this whisky was aged further, leading to a 28-year-old release in 2005, from which this bottling originates. This is the sole expression in the 1970s Collection not derived from the distillery's own maltings, which ceased operation in the summer of 1976.
