Fantastic. I was lucky enough to sample this while returning from Hong Kong. It had very little peat. Age has softened the scotch, but it still bursts with understated yet intricate flavors that remain long after you've swallowed. The taste lingered for a good while after I finished. If all scotch were this delicious, Scotland would be the global superpower.

Glenfiddich 1978 Rare Collection Cask No. 28121 is a 36-year-old expression, bottled at cask strength of 54.1%. Each bottle is presented in a handcrafted leather case, is individually numbered, and includes a leaflet with cask details featuring copper foil. Only 150 bottles are available, with a price of $3,500 each.
