About this bottle
This 46-year-old single malt from Glenglassaugh was distilled in 1975 and matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie. It represents one of the distillery's oldest and most scarce releases. Glenglassaugh, meaning "valley of the grey-green place," was established in 1875 on the Highland coast of Scotland. Packaged at 41.7% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and contains no added color, with each bottle individually numbered and sealed with wax. This US-exclusive bottling became available in April 2023.
