About this bottle
Glenfiddich Grand Yozakura 29 Year is a limited bottling within The Glenfiddich's Grand Series, which focuses on experimental cask finishes. The single malt Scotch whisky was aged for 29 years, then finished for six months in Awamori rice spirit casks from Okinawa, Japan, marking the first time Scotch has been finished in these Japanese oak casks. This release aligns with Hanami, the cherry blossom festival, and the name Yozakura means 'cherry blossoms at night.' It became available in limited quantities in the US on March 28, 2023, at a suggested price of $1,999.
