Starts off hot, but really opens up. I really enjoy the spice in this. The cognac comes through strongly. A long finish. I would happily revisit this a few times.

About this bottle
Chanticleer is the second Holiday Edition from Chicken Cock, presented in a collectible tin. The Kentucky straight bourbon is crafted using a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. After initial maturation in new, charred American oak barrels, the bourbon was finished in French cognac barrels. Master Distiller Gregg Snyder personally selected the bourbon and cognac barrels used for this bottling. Bottled at 112 proof, it has been available since October 2022. (SRP $499.99)
