About this bottle

This expression was part of the distillery's 2025 U.S. market re-entry. It is produced using 100% malted barley from eastern Scotland, distilled in copper pot stills with swan-neck tops, and finished with water from Crosshill Loch. The spirit rests for a minimum of 10 years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, stored in both dunnage and palletized warehouses near the Firth of Clyde on Scotland's Kintyre Peninsula. It is offered non-chill filtered, with nationwide availability starting May 2025. (SRP $79.99)

Phyllis Parham 3.3

This is a very easy drinking whisky. On the nose its subtle, not giving away much, however there will be hints of vanilla and some fruitiness. The taste reveals exactly the same, no big surprises just a nice easy drinking whisky with a fruity taste and hint of vanilla, and maybe if you wait for it.. some caramel is shining through. This is by any means a nice and easy whisky, the kind you would bring on a winter holiday vacation and enjoy with family members if you are not sure if they like whisky, no big surprises, its not gonna throw you away, its subtle but in a good way, not that tasteless alcoholic cheap way, but in a way where everybody are welcome.

Quinn Dubois 4.0

Smell: sweet dough, fruit, spice. Taste: sweet, vanilla. End: woody, peppery, coating, slick, savory.

Marina Osborne 3.8

Enjoyable to drink, but a bit lacking in power due to the low alcohol content. A good spirit.
