About this bottle

This additive-free tequila, made from 100% blue Weber agave, is presented at a higher proof than the distillery's standard blanco. It originates from the Southern Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is cooked in stone ovens, crushed using a Tahona, fermented in open-air steel tanks without fibers, and then twice distilled in copper pot stills. This tequila is bottled without additives at 108 proof.

Archer Webber 4.5

Aroma: fruit, agave, syrup. Taste is slightly vegetal, with some olive brine and spice, plus minerals. The mouthfeel is pleasantly viscous and oily. An excellent blanco, far superior to the standard G4, but not quite as exceptional as Fuenteseca or Fortaleza Still Strength. It appears there are two listings here, but I believe it's just a packaging update.

Dave Gatlin 3.5

A dry, Agave Spirit from NOM 1579. It starts with an aroma of agave, damp earth, citrus, flowers, herbs & spices. Its herbal body adds notes of cooked agave, orange, celery, olive, anise, basil, dill & peppermint. It finishes long and minerally with notes of black pepper, almond & limestone.

Lori Cole 4.8

Lots of natural agave sweetness upfront with a bit of citrus and mineral water. A little spice on the finish. Nowhere near where one would expect a 108 proof to be. After a couple bottles, this is my favorite single expression from any brand I've tried.

A favorite of mine. Extremely oily. Cooked agave, ripe fruit, juicy, minerals, olive, and alcohol that balances perfectly. This is truly artisanal.

An enjoyable blanco with hints of cooked agave, peaches, limes, minerals, white pepper, cinnamon, mint, honey, and star anise.
