About this bottle

Master distiller Enrique Fonseca created this spirit with the ambition of producing the world's most aged tequila. Unlike other expressions from the 2015 release that include some pot still distillate, this 21-year-old is made solely in copper double-column stills. The majority of the spirit was aged in barrels previously used for Canadian rye whiskey, supplemented by one barrel that held California white wine. The aging process spanned ten years in Atotonilco el Alto, followed by an additional eleven years in Chapingo. The final product is bottled at 43.5% ABV.
