Pour 2/3, possibly 4 at the Wheated charity event. $12/pour at discount. This stuff is extremely smooth with notes of caramel, pepper, agave, vanilla, and citrus. There are no aging limits for tequila; find the right casks, age them as long as you can, and they only improve with age.

About this bottle
The 12-year-old Fuenteseca Añejo is made using two distinct still types and aged in two different kinds of barrels. The spirit was distilled in June 2001, with 80% originating from alembic copper pot stills and 20% from double-column copper stills. Ninety percent of the spirit was placed in American white oak barrels previously used for aging California red wine, while the remaining 10% went into used dark French oak barrels. These barrels underwent twelve years of aging at an elevation of 3,800 feet in a cool climate, and the spirit is bottled at 45% ABV.
