About this bottle

Frida Kahlo, a renowned Mexican artist celebrated for her self-portraits, inspired this tequila. La Casa Azul, her former residence in Mexico City, now operates as a museum. Frida Kahlo Blanco is a 100% blue agave tequila. The agave plants are hand-selected and harvested, then roasted in an antique adobe brick oven for at least 28 hours. Subsequently, the agave is steamed and cooled before being crushed. After a natural fermentation period of at least four days, it is double-distilled in copper stills and bottled unaged.

A vibrant Agave Spirit made in copper stills, it begins with aromas of agave, herbs, and spices, leading to a full life ending in a medium-length peppery finish. March 2016 / April 2017
