The aroma is subtle yet pleasing, with abundant notes of caramel, brown sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Oak is noticeable but also serves to mellow the profile. It's immediately sweet and warm on the tongue and lips. Initially hot and spicy, with underlying notes of banana and tropical ocean air. The oak presence is definite, pushing the brown sugar flavors to the background. The finish is long and warming as the oak recedes into the spice, creating a smooth, clean blend that finishes with a hint of tobacco. While not as delightful as the Nobiliary for my palate, if you prefer an oak-forward profile, this is the one.

An excellent pour. What sets this apart from the Patrimonio and Hereditas are the distinct notes of pecan pie and walnut, along with raisins, molasses, black tea, cinnamon, nutmeg, morello cherries, and caramelized bananas.
