Forty Creek Victory, released in 2019, is the brand's thirteenth annual limited edition whisky. It commemorates the "Engagement at the Forty," a War of 1812 battle that took place near the distillery. The whisky combines a base of corn whisky with rye. Half of the blend undergoes a wood treatment, involving the addition of two toasted vanilla wood staves to mature barrels for a two-month finishing period. A small volume of the distillery’s 1999 Villard Noir Port is added for balance. It is available throughout Canada and in some US states.

Nose: Rich and sweet with prominent maple and caramel, plus some black cherry. Palate: Initially sweet with vanilla and butterscotch, followed by prunes, figs, cinnamon, and rye spice – lots of flavor. Finish: Medium length with a pleasant woody, earthy quality and some grape/wine notes. A tingle on the front of the tongue fades to a lingering tingle on the sides.
Sweet, cooked brown sugars, vanilla, and a bit of light red fruit on the aroma. Occasionally I detect wine-gum candies in the aroma. The flavor brings in some rye, wood, and a little youthful burn alongside the caramel and toffee. I also notice the red wine influence again in the flavor. The tastes are potent, but it seems young and costs more than I'd prefer to pay for a young, no-age-statement release. Fortunately, it's less sweet than some Canadian spirits.
