An excellent rye for the cost. Unfortunately, it's only available in BC. It's dangerously smooth. With a bit more smoke, it would be my perfect rye.

About this bottle
Seven Rebels is part of the J.P. Wiser's Rare Cask Series. The whisky honors Canadian whisky pioneers Wiser, Corby, Hiram Walker, Gooderham, Worts, Seagram, and Hatch. Corn, rye, wheat, rye malt, and barley malt were aged or finished in a mix of ex-bourbon, virgin oak, and Speyside malt casks. A limited number of barrels underwent enhancement with charred oak inserts to increase the whisky's smokiness and spice. This bottling is exclusive to British Columbia.

Smoky, vanilla, and oak are very prominent in this very smooth Canadian blend. It's easy to drink and potentially dangerous.
Currently my top choice. Very smooth, very flavorful, without an overpowering alcohol presence.
Charred wood, orange, ginger, vanilla. Wonderfully complex. An amazing blend.
