About this bottle

Five Fathers is a tribute to five generations of the Pogue family, who have a history of distilling in Maysville, Kentucky. Upon its release in 2013, it marked the first whiskey distilled at the former Old Time Distillery in seven decades. This distillery was established as the Old Pogue Distillery in the late 1800s and was owned by Henry Edgar (H.E.) Pogue. The whiskey is made entirely from malted rye. Note: The listed price is for a 375 ml bottle.

Lynda Rucker 4.0

The finest rye I have ever experienced, and the top American whiskey from the tasting. A friend pouring it described it as 'an old library book.' He was quite accurate. From a tasting event, 12/17/16.

Elmer Newton 3.0

A highly distinctive and good 100% rye.

Lana Addison 4.3

One of a kind.
