[Whiskey Live NY 2018] - I'm not certain which version of the single malt I sampled, but I did not care for it! It has a young, grainy banana taste, suggesting it's not fully developed yet. Besides the bottle's design, typography, and the Metal Gear Solid reference I wish the name came from, I'm moving on to the next booth.

I deliberately waited for this to go on sale. I'm happy I did. It's very good, don't misunderstand me. However, it's a peculiar, somewhat unconventional whiskey. I'm looking forward to exploring all the warmth and spice in this sipper.
A solid American Single malt. It's lighter than Scotch. The initial malt flavor gives way to a thin but pleasant and lingering peppery finish. It's closer to 3.5 stars.
This is a fantastic drink for sipping. I first tried it at a tasting at the distillery. A must-have for people in the area.
Spicy, sweet, with a heavy mouthfeel.
A smooth taste when served on ice.
