Initially very oak-forward, quickly followed by a pleasant grape essence and a hint of sweet Port at the end. A rich, woody Cognac with baking spice and light caramel notes. We appreciate the higher proof, which adds more body and vibrancy to the spirit, making it perfect for sipping or high-end cocktails. Consider trying it in a French 75 for an added flavor boost. It's best to get a few bottles while you can, as this is a limited release.

About this bottle
This cognac, Ferrand 10 Générations Port Cask Year of the Rabbit, commemorates both the 2023 Chinese New Year and the ten generations of the Ferrand family's expertise in viticulture and distillation. The initial Ferrand lineage began with Elie, with male descendants continuing the name for ten generations. Elie VIII traveled to Porto starting in 1872, exploring various cask finishes, including port, which inspired this bottling. Made from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes, the cognac first aged in French oak before a secondary maturation in port wine casks. It is presented at 88 proof and has a limited availability of 12,000 bottles, released in December 2022.
