This is a fine, strong VSOP, aged a bit longer than a VS, intended for today's brandy market. Exclusif is quite fruity and rich, making it excellent in cocktails. It begins with sweetness, featuring notes of fruit, sherry, and ginger ale. The palate is bitter and dry, with hints of beer, grape, and sherry. The finish is candied, with flavors of grape, syrup, and salt. September 2017
