The 2019 release of Expresiones del Corazón Artisanal Blanco is a 100% agave tequila produced at Casa San Matías Distillery in Jalisco's Los Altos region. It serves as the foundation for the Expresiones del Corazón collection of barrel-aged tequilas. The brand checks the brix level of the agaves to ascertain sugar content before harvesting. This tequila is crafted using a mix of agaves with varying sugar levels. Following cooking, milling, and fermentation, the resultant liquid is distilled twice in stainless steel pot stills. It is then aged for 60 days in stainless steel tanks before being bottled at 80 proof. This marks the fifth release for the collection, with national distribution and limited availability as of June 2019.
