An elegant Agave Spirit from master mezcaleros Epifania Gómez Mejía & Silverio García Luis for NOM-O496X in Oaxaca, Mexico. It was triple-distilled in copper alembic stills and infused with turkey, sweet potato, cranberry, pineapples, mangos, nanches, plums, plantains, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, rosemary, bay leaf, basil, cloves, bay leaves, cilantro, thyme, and black pepper before being bottled at 50% ABV. It starts aromatically with notes of roasted agave, earth, fruits, vegetables, meat, herbs, and spices. Its rich and complex character adds notes of mole negro, sweet potato, plantain, cranberry, and thyme, leading to a warm, medium-length finish with a hint of earth and smoked turkey.
