About this bottle

Elk Rider Bourbon, managed by Justin and Jennifer Stiefel, uses a mash bill sourced entirely from Washington State, consisting of 65% corn, 35% rye, and 5% malted barley, which is pressure cooked. Their "Farm to Flask" approach means all distilling, aging, and bottling happens on-site at their Gig Harbor distillery. The distillate is aged and then blended in 200L, 50L, and 10L casks for just under two years. The label honors Jennifer’s ancestors, who were known for taming wild elk, by depicting a woman riding one.

Connor Christiansen 4.3

Very smooth and pleasant texture. Flavors of oak and vanilla, with what I believe is banana. The velvety texture transitions into a satisfying finish.

Mollie Huff 3.0

Just acquired a bottle. Noticed a subtle pine aroma, which was interesting. Enjoyed it neat and found it pleasing.

Collin Mcafee 1.8

Made me wish I had ordered the only other bourbon available at Moda (Jim Beam)...

Rosalinda Bronson 3.0

Pleasant initial taste, smooth entry, with an unusual finish.

Alexus Linton 3.0
