About this bottle
Released in 2010 as the fourth edition of the Parker's Heritage Collection, this bourbon was also the first in the series to feature barrel-proof, extra-aged wheated bourbon. A total of 52 ten-year-old barrels were used, yielding 4,800 bottles. The specific cask this bottle originated from registered at 62.1% ABV.

A caramel powerhouse with apricot and pepper. My wife said, “damn, it’s just good. You have permission to buy a bottle.”
Overhyped. Not nearly as good as an Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, which I also sampled the same evening.
Smoked maple bacon, baking spices, and a long finish.
