El Tequileño Blanco Tequila

Drunk neat. Perfectly clear. The aroma has lime peel, some agave, pepper, and herbs. The taste is mild agave, a bit sweet, with black pepper and a notable earthiness/minerality. The finish has a slight bite and a bitter herbal note. Overall, it's acceptable, but this is a mixto, so the agave presence is considerably lighter. It's the best mixto I've encountered and surpasses many 100% agave tequilas made with diffusers and additives. Considering the price, I'd likely choose Altos, as it's slightly less expensive than this mixto and is well-made.

Smells like lime, grapefruit, cooked agave, and soil. Texture is somewhat thick. Palate presents more lime, grapefruit, and agave, along with black pepper, vegetation, and faint cinnamon. The finish is rather brief. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)

This is technically a mixto, but you'd hardly guess. It's quite sweet with noticeable agave notes, and it works wonderfully in Margaritas. An excellent bargain! Don't be pretentious!
