About this bottle
El Decreto Blanco Tequila, meaning "the decree" in Spanish, is produced from agave plants aged between 7 and 12 years, cultivated in the Jalisco highlands. After cooking, the agave ferments for 5 to 7 days before undergoing double distillation. The blanco tequila is then matured for 15 days in American oak barrels prior to filtration for clarity and bottling in handcrafted glass containers.
