About this bottle

Scotland's smallest distillery is operated by just three individuals, producing only 12 casks weekly. This offering is sold in 500 ml bottles and is not distributed in the United States. The distillery also features the industry's smallest pot still. This specific bottling first matures in ex-bourbon casks, then undergoes a finishing period in port pipes. It is presented at cask strength.

A truly beautiful and smooth whiskey. My first taste was at the Whiskey Museum in Edinburgh, and I was compelled to purchase a bottle. It's definitely one to be savored, with a sweet aroma and a wonderful velvety finish that lingers. It's undoubtedly #1 in my Top Shelf. It's kept out of sight in the back of the cupboard under the stairs, and only shared with my father and my father-in-law... and even then, only for their birthdays warrants a small glass! Even my wife doesn't get to drink this. My bottle is 13 years old.
