Maurice Dobbins 3.0

Nose: The aroma was potent and unique, with notes of dandelion, fresh arugula, and wildflowers. I almost couldn't get past it. While I appreciate floral notes in whiskies, this was borderline excessive. It also contained sweet notes reminiscent of candy corn. Taste: The palate was less impressive. It had a slight oakiness, with hints of basil and various herbs, a sweet note of butterscotch morsels, and seemed like a diluted bourbon. Thoughts: This French whiskey was quite good, considering I wasn't very familiar with it! I enjoyed it in France with some new friends my wife and I made, and it was enjoyable to experience a spirit that was part of their culture and country. Although superior options exist, I truly enjoyed it due to the company and the excellent meal we shared! Cheers!
