About this bottle
For nearly 300 years until 1970, the Royal Navy supplied its sailors with daily rum rations, originally a pint that reduced over time to about 2 oz. This rum is a recreation based on a sample of Navy Rum that was acquired. It was distilled at the now-defunct Caroni distillery in Trinidad and has been aged for 15 years. Bottled at cask strength, it is 108 proof and available in the UK.
