About this bottle
Desolas offers a reposado mezcal made in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, from 100% Salmiana agave. The agave piñas are cooked in above-ground hornos, then crushed with a stone roller mill before fermentation in stainless steel vats. Distillation occurs in a closed copper still. The mezcal is aged for about 6 months in 200-liter ex-bourbon American oak barrels and bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV). Introduced in November 2025, this expression expands the brand's offerings beyond its standard joven mezcal, retailing for approximately $109.99.
