About this bottle
Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal is produced by Casa Lumbre, a global spirits company that also owns brands like Montelobos Mezcal, Abosolo Corn Whisky, and Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueurs. This mezcal is crafted from 100% cultivated espadin agave and aged for approximately six months in selected US whiskey barrels. It then undergoes a small-batch filtration process that removes its color. While Cristalino Tequilas have emerged in recent years, Casa Lumbre pioneered the creation of Cristalino Mezcal, and this July 2022 release marks its US debut. Other international markets are expected to receive it in 2023. The suggested retail price is $59.99.
