Depaz Single Cask 2002 Hors D'Age

Compared to the vsop, there's more oak and just a slight hint of cherry. Thankfully, it's not over-oaked. Depaz rhums are among the few that require some time to open up. The vsop, for example, improved continuously over time; I hope the same occurs with this bottle.

It is smoother on the nose than on the palate, a good rhum agricole.
