The aroma and taste are outstanding. The finish begins well but then becomes very leathery and oaky, with an astringent quality. The 15-year-old version is superior.

Seems rather strong for 43% ABV. Spicy and oaky. Not a personal favorite, but I'm glad I experienced it.
