Mollie Corcoran 4.0

The Santo Domingo presents a more vibrant, less smoky, and fruitier aroma initially. Notes of citrus, pear, and green apple are present, with the smoke subtly lingering. I also detect a trace of fresh, smokeless gunpowder. The taste mirrors the aroma but in reverse. It has an oily mouthfeel. The smoke is prominent at first, but very light. Then, it's like roasted fruit, similar to baking lemons and apples over a campfire. The conclusion is semi-prolonged, featuring pepper and nutmeg, with a hint of cinnamon. It finishes like an Islay Scotch.

Reynaldo Malik 4.3

Vegetable notes, green peppers, smoky molasses, with touches of mango, herbs, and oddly, strawberries. A complex mezcal that stands out as one of my favorites.

Maudie Ceja 3.0

Enjoyable smokiness with a more pronounced citrus character. It's not as full-bodied as I'd prefer, but still pleasant.

Becky Harlow 3.8

Sweet, sweet leather and earthy notes on the nose. Less smoky on the palate with a sweet finish.

Nettie Leahy 3.8

Aroma of rock, smoke, wood, orange, and leather. Tastes of smoke, char, and agave.

Elisha Crist

Much more inviting. Easier to drink. Less smoky. Almost tropical
