About this bottle
Introduced in 2010 as an addition to their spirits portfolio, this is the inaugural gin released by the Weymss family, who are primarily recognized for their Scotch whiskies. This gin pays tribute to the historical figure Lord Darnley, who resided at Weymss Castle near Edinburgh, Scotland during the 16th century. The base spirit is derived from grain cultivated in Britain, and six botanicals are employed, with lemon and elderflower being the prominent elements. The elderflower is gathered locally during the summer months and subsequently dehydrated for future use. No artificial flavors or additives have been incorporated. All botanicals not sourced locally are obtained sustainably from reputable farmers.
