Quite remarkably good... a classic German-style herbal spirit with a schnapps kick. Botanicals leaning heavily on bitters, wormwood(?), and warming spices. A superb digestif, and even better for substituting Campari or vermouth in mixed drinks.
Abundant clove mingled with other herbal notes. It's like a subdued version of a certain herbal liqueur, if that makes sense. Pleasant enough to drink straight, but I find it better with ice.
