About this bottle

Rock & Rye was a well-liked drink in American bars during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, used to improve the taste of lower-quality rye whiskey with rock candy, citrus peels, and sometimes ginger. This modernized version from NY Distilling in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, involves Master Distiller Allen Katz combining a younger batch of their Ragtime Rye with rock candy made from In the Raw sugar and an infusion of botanicals like dried orange peel, dried Bing cherry, cinnamon, and other spices.

Moshe Locklear 4.0

Pleasantly good, though I would suggest it as a beverage for either before or after a meal, perhaps in a cocktail.

Rene Hutton 1.0

It's tolerable with seltzer. The recipe should be changed. There's a bit too much candy cane flavor.

Clair Moss 2.8

it's tasty served over ice

Rodrigo Bolin 1.3

It's far too sweet.
