This 100% certified organic mezcal was introduced by the 123 Spirits Company in late 2016. David Ravindi, the founder of 123 Spirits, worked with master mezcaleros to create this single village bottling. It is made using traditional pit-ovens for cooking the piñas and tahonas for crushing them. The label, printed with soy-ink on recycled paper, features the Aztec goddess of bones, Mictecacihuatl.

Didn't possess the depth I anticipated. Easy to drink, as expected from the lower alcohol content. Pleasant aroma. Warm. Everything was as predicted, just not thrilling.
