46%, Non Chill Filtered, no added color Nose: Citrus, sweet orchard fruits - leaning towards sweet juicy apple, sticky toffee, vanilla, and stroopwafel. Palate: Sharp, caramel biscuity waffle - going back to stroopwafel here, apple, pineapple. Finish: Medium long, warming, and more pleasant syrupy caramel and pineapple. I purchased this whisky because I've heard excellent things about its fantastic price. I definitely prefer spirits with a robust, oily, and heavy texture, and this one certainly fits that description. I love that this is essentially liquid stroopwafel, Dutch waffle, and syrup biscuits alongside an apple or pineapple slice. It possesses a delightful barnyard funk that's somewhat reminiscent of the Loch Lomond, but without the metallic, overripe fruit taste. This is certainly a contender for permanent shelf space for me; a great price without compromising on taste and quality.

Biased opinion: This is the best Scotch that I’ve had so far - I’m very, very new to this. That said, this is absolutely delicious. Unbelievably full of flavor. Apples, vanilla, and a wonderful warmth. Not to mention the lovely lingering aftertaste. It really stays with you for a while. Best of all, the price point is really not bad at all. Unfortunately, I’m head over heels, so I’ll be forking over a lot more money in the direction of this and other similar distilleries. Very excited to continue down this road and explore more. And a HUGE shoutout to a local connoisseur who came through with this excellent recommendation. Absolutely 10/10 I know it’s not the best scotch out there, but for me and my journey, it has absolutely been a five star experience. 💙

The aroma hints at apple and black tea. The flavor profile offers spiced, steeped fruit. It concludes with a moderately long finish, introducing a touch of caramel-like sweetness. Overall, it's a very good dram, enjoyable and a solid choice, not overly dominant in any particular area, making it easy to appreciate.

I was anxious about this one after hearing so much about it. So many flavors in such an affordable bottle bringing 46% ABV with natural colors and non chilled filtered scotch. What else do we need in a whisky? At first on the nose I got mild hints of sulphur to be overpowered by caramel, apple and honey. That apple dipped with caramel bite is what i sense here. The palate brings that gingery, spice feeling together with the sweet apple. Then the finish takes you to the Spanish Sherry wines with a walnut finish. It’s very unique to have a finish that is so similar to a sherry wine. The walnut finish is very distinct and pleasant. Very good scotch that I recommend to anyone! Slainte Mha!

NEAT NOSE - Apple, Pear, Grilled Pineapple PALATE - All the aromas detected on the nose carry through to the palate, accompanied by a vanilla body. The texture is silky smooth, though not as viscous as the legs suggested it might be. FINISH - Unfortunately short, but the flavors encourage repeated sipping. BUY? - Yes, especially given the excellent value. BUY AGAIN? - Absolutely. This offers a great flavor profile at a commendable age and price. It's a fruity Speyside, and as I'm new to scotch, I'm unsure if this is typical. Nevertheless, it's worth the cost and your attention.

This is a top pick for me and hard to put into words. Nose: Primarily fruit and vanilla, but with a sourness and an oily, industrial funk that creates something special. Palate: A moderately oily texture. The nose translates well to the palate, with an extra note of leather. Finish: Lingering. The fruit dissipates, but the oily, industrial funk remains.
