Acquired at a discount on Cinco de Mayo as it was the most affordable 100% agave reposado. When consumed neat, it's definitely on the thin and unremarkable side, though the cooked agave flavor is present with a bit of white pepper and vanilla. I didn't purchase it for solo sipping, however, and it created excellent margaritas for a party of five. I would repurchase it for entertaining, but not for drinking by myself.

Considerably smokier than its profile suggests, which is nonexistent. Smoky, fruity on the nose. While not overwhelmingly smoky, it's the initial impression. Full-bodied with an oily texture, yet smooth regardless. Flavorful, starting with smoke, followed by peppery notes, and a nutty character emerging later. It truly coats the palate and leaves a warm, comforting finish. Enjoyed neat in a Glencairn glass.
A full-bodied agave spirit produced by Nom 1103 in the Highlands - Los Altos, Mexico. It begins with a rich character, featuring notes of stewed stone fruits and oak; it develops a complex middle with added cooked agave, vegetal, herbaceous, and spicy elements; culminating in a smooth and rich finish with hints of rye, mint, pepper, sweet vanilla, earth, and smoke. It's not bad by any measure, but I found the flavors somewhat lacking. The vanilla, oak, and agave notes were rather muted, making it challenging for use in mixed drinks. It is quite smooth, which is a positive. Likely best for sipping rather than cocktails.
Remarkably smooth, particularly considering its cost.
Pleasant and mellow.
