About this bottle

Founded in 1880 by Gaston Tessendier, the Distillerie Tessendier estate operates today as Maison Park, a family-owned business committed to continuing its generational legacy. The Borderies cru, one of the six designated growing regions for cognac, is notably the smallest in terms of land area. Cognac Park Borderies is an uncommon offering from this region, having been aged for 15 years. It initially matured for 10 months in new Limousin oak casks before being transferred to older casks. This single vineyard bottling was developed to highlight the floral, delicate characteristics of the Borderies region and to serve as a bridge between VSOP and XO classifications.

Sterling Neely 4.0

This is the third of six samples from a pack of Park Cognac. Soft floral notes, essential orange oil, and black tea on the nose. It's soft and supple on the palate, with light honey, vanilla, and black tea. The medium-length finish has a slight spice, along with notes of light honey, vanilla, and black tea. Very subtle yet delicious. I wish I had more!

Juan Ferrell 4.5

A very pleasant aroma, smelling of wood and cask. A mellow and fine taste, with hints of caramel and fruit. Typical of the Borderies region. A long aftertaste.

Owen Hamilton 4.0

This is new to me. I'm genuinely surprised. I plan to purchase another bottle to keep on hand.

Trenton Muniz 4.3

Fairly full-bodied with plum flavor. Smooth warm finish.
