About this bottle

Maison Boinaud, the largest family-owned estate in the Grand Champagne region of Cognac with over 1,000 acres, possesses its own distillery and cooperage. The 24th generation of this house, founded in the 1640s, is presently responsible for Cognac De Luze. This VS bottling is aged for at least two years and, as a Fine Champagne, is composed of Grand Champagne (at least 50%) and Petite Champagne grapes.

Nan Britton 3.8

A pleasant, fruit-forward young Cognac. The nose has floral fruit, vanilla, and oak. The palate begins with mild sweetness, a hint of warmth quickly appears and then fades into a well-balanced finish of fruit and oak spice that lasts. Quite good for the fairly low cost.

Ramiro Stanford 3.8

Scents of crystallized orange, honeysuckle, raisin, and baking spices. A well-rounded texture. More crystallized orange and raisin on the palate, along with honeycomb, vanilla, apple blossom, and a subtle chamomile on the finish. The finish is quite sustained. 3.75/5.00 – Very Good (served neat)

Jeanne Tejeda 4.0

Aroma of candy. A smooth and fruity taste with an extremely short, almost absent finish. Feels very rich and velvety. Fruit and mild oak are prominent at the start.

Dakota Barger 3.5

A standard from the Boinaud house. Notes of orange, vanilla, raisins, a touch of caramel, honey. Acceptable, but not particularly memorable.

Morris Oliver 3.0

Fruity, spicy, floral, with a strong alcoholic bite at the start of the aftertaste. However, it leaves a long and pleasant finish.

Riley Lowry 4.0

Very enjoyable!
