About this bottle
Fanny Fougerat, a fourth-generation distiller, is the first in her family to bottle under their surname. She manages her family's 30 hectares of ugni blanc vines, primarily situated in the Borderies cru, with additional plots in Fins Bois. Petit Cigüe represents her youngest offering. The grapes for this expression were picked in 2010, and the wine was distilled twice using a direct-fire alembic still. Only 15% of the batch was matured in new oak, with the remainder placed in neutral oak. No sugar, caramel, or other additives are included. These are single-barrel bottlings, and the specific barrel and bottle numbers are marked on the label.
