Clarke's Court developed the #37 blend to commemorate the 300th anniversary of St. Georges, Grenada. The Grenada Sugar Factory commenced rum production in 1937, and #37 honors the company's establishment. Previously, the rums were known as Tradewinds and Red Neck before the establishment of the Clarke's Court brand. The rum undergoes an eight-year aging process in oak barrels, followed by blending and a secondary maturation period in oak barrels. Each bottle is individually numbered upon bottling.

I'm not typically a rum drinker, but I do enjoy this one. I picked up this 12 year aged rum in Grenada during a visit, and it was a worthwhile purchase. It has a spicy finish that appears after a few minutes, but it goes down smoothly.
Amber color. Notes of chocolate and orange. Hints of wood and spice. A burning sensation. A pleasant sipping rum.
