About this bottle

The Saint James Distillery is situated in the Saint-Marie area of Martinique. In 2010, the company established a contemporary distillery featuring a museum. Their rhums originate from the juice of locally cultivated sugarcane, which is harvested from February through early summer. The cane juice undergoes distillation in column-stills. For this particular bottling, the spirit is matured in oak barrels or vats and then diluted to proof with local water. Their Rhum Vieux agricole is a combination of rums aged for three years, blended to achieve 42% ABV.
