Giselle Ivy 3.5

Catoctin Creek Peach Brandy is a rare genuine peach brandy, offering excellent value and performing admirably both sipped straight and in mixed drinks. For a 375ml bottle, it’s a purchase well justified if discovered. On the nose, expect stone fruit, dried leaves, and a floral honey scent alongside the distinct peach aromas. The taste presents a sugary foundation, reminiscent of a baked peach dessert, complemented by cereal undertones. The conclusion offers minimal heat, delivering further sweet peach flavors. Considering the scarcity of peach brandies and the necessity for certain drinks like the Fish House Punch, along with its affordable price, this bottle earns a recommendation. While not stunning when savored solo, it possesses sufficient depth to remain engaging. Even though many might hesitate to spend over $30 for a 375ml bottle for mixing, it has undeniably enhanced the character of the beverages it's been added to.
