Is anyone else the first to review this? Does Catoctin Creek make brandy? I visited the distillery recently for a tasting and really enjoyed it, so I purchased a bottle. I'm quite new to brandy and Cognac, but this one holds its own against any VSOPs I've sampled. It offers a pleasant warming sip with a hint of sweetness. Notes of dried fruit, caramel, and perhaps roasted nuts are present.
