Manufactured without additives, Cantera Negra Silver Tequila is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco. The agave is subjected to autoclave cooking and roller mill extraction, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks without the inclusion of fibers. The tequila undergoes double distillation in stainless steel pot stills and is bottled at 80 proof.

A crisp Agave Spirit featuring notes of cooked agave, earth, fruits, herbs & spices; while a complex character adds notes of citrus, celery, anise & thyme; leading to an herbal finish of medium length with notes of pepper, vanilla & sea spray.
The marketing promised a lot, but this is among the worst 100% agave tequilas I've encountered. It's essentially vodka with a faint agave presence. Deeply disappointing.

Quite smooth with pleasant flavor.
