Caffo Crema di Limoncello

Appearance: A slightly yellowish-beige cream, opaque. Aroma: Sweet lemon sherbet, but gentle and not as sharp or immediate as most limoncello. Flavor and Texture: The texture is creamy, thick, and rich. The flavor is of soft, sweet lemons with a slight fizz, but like the aroma, it's moderated by the creamy consistency. This is a very enjoyable cream liqueur, especially for those who like lemon flavor but find typical limoncello too bitter or sharp. It has a luxurious, velvety texture and is very satisfying. It's delightful served neat as a digestif and pairs well with after-dinner coffee, though it's best served chilled. It's also excellent over ice cream or drizzled on rich fruit cake. While I've had cream liqueurs before, this is my first creama di limoncello, and I'm now curious to try others. It's quite affordable and worth sampling. "Good": 84/100 (3.75 stars)
