About this bottle
Buffalo Trace presented this whiskey in 2011 as part of the tenth batch of its Experimental Collection, featuring rediscovered barrels. It originates from eight barrels found on the second floor of Warehouse L. Distilled in May 1993 from an unidentified bourbon mash bill, its initial distill and entry proofs are also unknown, leading to its classification as "whiskey." The spirit aged for seventeen years and seven months in new charred oak, with a loss of 43.6% to evaporation. The barrels were emptied in December 2010 and bottled at a 45% ABV.
