About this bottle
This whiskey, released in 2011, is one of three bottlings in the tenth batch of Buffalo Trace's Experimental Collection, centered on rediscovered barrels. It comes from seven barrels discovered on the second floor of Warehouse I. The distill date was November 1989, using an unknown bourbon mash bill, and the original distill and entry proofs are not recorded, hence its "whiskey" designation. After twenty-one years and one month in new charred oak, 75.9% of the contents had evaporated. Bottling occurred in December 2010 at 45% ABV.
