This single malt didn't immediately try to impress – a friend described it as a more subdued expression that gradually reveals its character. The nose is direct, without being flashy or overly intricate. However, the palate is where the magic happens. It's smooth and gentle, with a very subtle hint of peat that suggests smoke without being dominant. The finish leaves a pleasant spicy warmth, lingering just long enough to be remembered.
