To celebrate being fully vaccinated, a companion and I have been enjoying dinner and drinks indoors with our neighbors. Our neighbors know I enjoy a good distilled spirit, and one of them is really into amaro and shared this with me tonight. Really lovely stuff. Nose smells like a mix of cola, curaçao, and mint toothpaste. Taste is like flat cola, but not in an unpleasant way, with a finish that leans more sweet than bitter. Not sure about availability, but a nice pour nonetheless. Recommend.

Bought to substitute for another liqueur. Nice dark color. Smell: Cooked oranges. Nail polish remover. Taste: SUGAR. Candied orange. Quite one-dimensional. Thick/oily. I desire more bitterness. Some saltiness present. Finish. Brief. Sweet. Finally, a hint of bitter orange. Some spice emerges with continued sipping. It's a pleasant, mild amaro, heavy on citrus and sweetness. Glad it's bottled at a good proof. I'll likely purchase this again for use in cocktails, but I recall a friend's recipe being better than this.
